Traffic Control Services for Prevailing Wage Rate Projects

Clean Water Services (District) invites qualified contractors to submit proposals to provide traffic control services under a one-year contract that can be renewed for up to two additional one-year periods. District will select one primary contractor to provide all services and one back up provider. Interested contractors must submit proposals.
Each proposer must be licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. Prevailing wage rates must be paid by proposers and any subcontractors on the Contract in accordance with ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 or, if applicable, the Davis Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. Section 3141et seq.). Proposers and any subcontractors will be required to have a public works bond filed with the Construction Contractors Board before starting work on the Contract unless there is an applicable exemption under ORS 279C.836(4), (7), (8) or (9).
Proposals are due to Gabe Sohler, Field Construction/Maintenance Supervisor - System Repair, located at 2025 SW Merlo Court, Beaverton, Oregon 97003 (District’s FO Office) by Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Facsimile or electronically transmitted proposals will not be accepted. Late proposals will be kept by District, but not considered for award. Proposals will not be opened publicly or read aloud.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (PST) at District’s FO Office.

District may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed procedures and requirements, and may reject, for good cause, any or all proposals upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
